I visited the Twst Bar for the first time recently and was so pleased. The customer service was exceptional. I got a shampoo, deep conditioner and medium twist. The entire service from start to finish was superb! I am so happy this business exists. I arrived around 1130am (on a weekday) and left around 2pm. I give this place 5 stars for service, styling and for a being a safe space for black women to feel free, welcomed and cared for. I will absolutely be returning for more loving natural hair care.

A co-worker put me on a spot where you can just walk in no appointments, no haggling over prices. She said I feel right at home with the music and the Beautiful Kinfolk and she was absolutely right! I I walked in and in less than 2 hours my hair was washed conditioned my scale was properly scratched 😄and I left with fresh medium twists and a great overall experience 10 out of 10 highly recommend don't think about it just walk up on them!

My first time at the twst bar was phenomenal! The young lady at the front was very sweet and inviting and calm where it established a very welcoming first impression. I was serviced quickly the wait wasn’t long before I was getting washed. Two young ladies worked on my medium twist and they allowed me to check on my car since it’s street parking in the middle. The young lady that completed my hair was very down to earth, making sure I was comfortable and liked my hair. I would definitely return.

I just left Twst Bar, and it was my first time there. I had such a lovely experience from start to finish (found them via Instagram). The receptionist was incredibly kind and took the time to explain everything, which immediately made me feel at ease.
The stylist was so gentle while washing my hair—very mindful and caring—which I truly appreciated. I received the full-service shampoo and treatment, along with small flat twists, and the entire process felt relaxing and professional. My hair came out neat, healthy, and beautifully done.
I’m so glad I chose Twist Bar for my first visit and will definitely be returning!
